If you can take a $5000 account and trade the NQ 144 tick to the point where you have doubled your trade capital to $10,000, you would probably be in a great position to consider graduating to the Russell (TF) as a stage 2 level of a progressive trade plan.    The NQ is perfect for sharpening your tools.  Armed with a $10,000 account, and all the experience you would have gained trading the NQ 144, you'd be ready and more than capable of trading the TF.
