This video covers some of the ideas behind trading those big gaps (up or down) that will occur at times in the e-Mini index futures. Most sessions actually don't gap so this is a non-factor but it's good to know what to do when it happens. One alternative, given how frequent we get set-ups is to not even worry about the first 15 to 30 minutes and only start to trade for example starting at 10am EST (New York Time) -- it becomes a complete non-factor. However, if you like to be in the mix right at the opening bell this will show you how that is done with the gaps. If you haven't received your training course yet - don't worry if a lot is not crystal clear - it shouldn't be - you haven't gone through the training yet -- but, it will be clear so you can come back to this again. It's going to be fun!
